Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") form an agreement between you and the Argumentia app and govern your use of the app. By creating an account or using Argumentia, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

1. Description of the service

Argumentia is an educational argument-training app where you debate topics with an artificial intelligence opponent, receive performance analyses, and study logic and rhetoric content. The service is intended for educational and entertainment purposes.

2. Account and eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use Argumentia;
You are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential and for all activity on your account;
The information you provide must be accurate and kept up to date.

3. Subscriptions and payments

Argumentia offers a free plan with limited features and paid auto-renewing subscription plans (Essential and Pro), available in monthly and yearly billing periods.

      Payment is charged to your Apple App Store or Google Play account at confirmation of purchase;
The subscription automatically renews for the same period unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period;
Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the end of the current period, at the price of the selected plan;
The price, duration, and billing cycle of each plan are shown in the app before you confirm the purchase;
You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time in your App Store or Google Play account settings. Deleting the app does not cancel the subscription;
Payments already made are generally non-refundable, except where required by applicable law or the store's policies.

    

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

Use the app for unlawful, abusive, defamatory, or rights-infringing purposes;
Attempt to access, copy, or improperly interfere with systems, other users' data, or the service infrastructure;
Reverse engineer or exploit the service in an abusive or automated manner.

5. AI-generated content

The opponent's replies and analyses are generated by AI models and may contain inaccuracies or views that do not reflect Argumentia's opinion. The content is for educational purposes and does not constitute legal, professional, or definitive factual advice.

6. Intellectual property

The app, the Argumentia brand, the text, design, and educational content are protected by intellectual property rights. The content you create (your debate messages) remains yours, but you grant us a license to process and store it in order to operate the service.

7. Termination

You may close your account at any time from within the app. We may suspend or terminate access if these Terms are violated. Active subscriptions follow the cancellation rules of the respective store.

8. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

The service is provided "as is", without warranties of uninterrupted availability or fitness for a particular purpose. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Argumentia is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the app.

9. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federative Republic of Brazil, without prejudice to consumer rights provided under applicable law.

10. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use after material changes means you accept the revised Terms.
