This Privacy Policy describes how the Argumentia app ("Argumentia", "we", "us") collects, uses, and protects your information when you use the app. By using Argumentia, you agree to the practices described here.

1. Information we collect

• Account data: name, username, email address, profile photo, and bio that you provide when signing up or editing your profile.
• Usage content: the debates you hold (your messages and the AI's replies), quiz results, completed lessons, saved words, and your learning progress and statistics.
• Subscription data: your subscription status (free, Essential, or Pro). Purchases are processed by the Apple App Store or Google Play and managed through RevenueCat; we do not collect or store credit card details.
• Technical data: device language and identifiers needed for authentication and core functionality.

2. How we use your information

• Provide, maintain, and improve the app's features;
• Generate debate replies and performance analyses using artificial intelligence models;
• Save and sync your progress across sessions;
• Manage your account and subscription plan;
• Ensure security and prevent misuse.

3. Sharing with third parties

We do not sell your personal data. We share information only with providers that make the service possible:

• Supabase — authentication, database, and hosting of your account content;
• RevenueCat — subscription management;
• Apple App Store and Google Play — payment processing;
• AI model providers — the text of your debates is sent to generate the opponent's replies and your analyses. This content is used only to produce the requested response;
• Cloudflare R2 — storage of educational content.

4. Data retention and deletion

We keep your data while your account is active. You can delete your account at any time under Settings → Account → Delete account; this permanently removes your profile, debates, progress, and other associated data from our servers.

5. Security

We apply reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we work to keep your information safe.

6. Children's privacy

Argumentia is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with data, please contact us so we can remove it.

7. Your rights

Under applicable privacy laws (including the GDPR and Brazil's LGPD where relevant), you have the right to access, correct, export, and delete your data, and to withdraw consent. To exercise these rights, use the in-app account deletion or contact us.

8. International transfers

Your data may be processed on servers located outside your country. By using the app, you consent to such transfers, always subject to appropriate safeguards.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
